What exactly is phone-number liveliness?+
Liveliness is a set of real-time signals about whether a number is actually usable: is it assigned and active on a carrier network, can it receive a call or SMS, what kind of line is it, and does it carry fraud risk. It goes well beyond checking that a number is formatted correctly.
How is this different from format validation?+
Format or regex validation only tells you a number could exist. Qualmie tells you whether it currently does — live, reachable and safe — by resolving carrier and network status, not just the shape of the digits.
Which signals are on the free plan?+
All of them. Free includes live status, reachability, line type, carrier, portability and risk signals — just with a lower rate limit and monthly volume than the paid plans.
How fresh is the data?+
